At FBC Richmond, We believe that corporate worship is a vital part of who we are as the body of believers called the Church. We gather weekly to give our praise to God and to lift him up above all others. We do that through our instrumentalists and praise team, through our sanctuary choir, through our children's church choir, and gifted soloists. We welcome all who have a passion for music and wants to be a part of an exciting music ministry.
The Student Ministry here at FBC Richmond seeks to teach and disciple your students in the
Christian faith as well as provide a place for them to come and hang out in a community
atmosphere where they can chat with their peers, play games and have fun. Each activity and or
program that is within the Student Ministry is aimed at leading students to an authentic faith in
We strive to teach students what the Gospel means, and what it looks like to accurately live it out. We are focused on portraying what it means to be a Christian who is genuine in their faith in which their belief and action align together. We desire for students to understand their faith as their own and not just a faith that was passed down to them. This faith includes leading them to Christ, discipling them to live out their faith as well as sharing that faith with others. Of the opportunities that are provided, we meet on Sunday mornings, Sunday Evenings, and Wednesday Nights.
Sunday Morning: 9:30-10:30 before service
Sunday Mornings are more of a Sunday School atmosphere where discussion about topics is the focus.
Sunday Evenings: 7:15- 9:00 (at the latest) after evening service. (Meet at Ben and Stacey Gingrich's place)
This time is much more focused on discipleship and digging deeper within a community atmosphere. We meet at a home and it's a time for students to dig deeper and ask questions. This time is reserved for deeper bible study, as well as forming close-knit relationships with peers.
Wednesday Night: 6:30-7:30
Wednesday Nights is more surface level Bible teaching but is still an opportunity to dig into many different topics that teenagers face in their everyday lives. This is more of a time to hear preaching rather than discussion on topics.
